Earlier today, Newsweek magazine published an article about Ikbis, the first Arab video and photo sharing site. Not bad, huh?
A cool start of 2007 for the TootCorp team. A big thanks to all the users of Ikbis and all our friends around the blogosphere who supported and mentioned us. The team at TootCorp is hard at work on some new cool features. So stay tuned

Is there anyway to make it go faster, I’ve yet to watch Ikbis as it takes so darn long, and I only have snippets of time on screen. (Believe it or not!)

Ah yes.. The iPod competion. It will start soon. Sorry about the confusion over that. It was not supposed to be announced when we launched.
We really look forward to receiving some super photos and video created by the users. Creativity is key.
most popular videos are of girls dancing what’s makes it so arabic?
This is good news. Keep up the good work. You are giving good quality to the Arab websphere. Keep it rolling…
Mariam..
Are you saying that Arabs don’t dance? Or that Arabs don’t like dancing?
im saying that arabs dont dance in public, like that, without being called names! would u allow your sister, or daughter or mom to be “called names”? i know how arab guys think: hey let her dance, let us all dance, and when they go home: did u see that b****! give me a break!
More competition are on the way for ikbis
