What do Iran’s Ahmadinejad and the Discovery Channel have in common?

Answer: a logo!
Notice the similarity? The first time I saw the pictures of the now famous ‘wipe Israel off the map’ speech by the Iranian president, which he delivered in front of a student conference, I felt that I’ve seen the logo on the podium before. Indeed!
Speaking of Iran here is an Associated Press photo of a recent demonstration banner. No comment.

Its pretty shallow to even try to link two totally unrelated issue together through a logo. Its tought sometimes to seperate your profession, from your view of the world, isn’t it?

Dear ‘Me’.. Excuse my shallowness. I was simply ‘professionally’ overwhelmed with the striking resemblance of the two logos.

Dear Humeid,
As this is your blog, you are free to express your feelings towards anything in the world. But the phrase “professionally overwhelmed” makes no sense at all in English. Afterall, how is “overwhelmed” different from “professionally overwhelmed”?
I can understand “highly overwhelmed”, but “professionally”?
I am an English teacher and have to comment as this relates to my profession too
