Wouldn’t you agree ahmad; that the done of winter in Jordan is “psychologically” marked by the official switching to or is it from? the daylight saving time?
all of a sudden things slow down, and sort of hibernate! the effect of shortened days is just miserable on any summer loving individual.
Not to mention the household practice of getting the winter clothing suitcases out of the overhead attics!
As for the first rain fall, it usually marks a peak in traffic accidents due to the dangerous mix of water, oil and dirt on our roads.
On the bright side, the early showers also washes the streets, providing the municipality opens up the water-drains’ plastic covers beforehand, or else ponds with tiny frogs appear.
