As a middle of the road religion man I have been waiting for people like you to stand up. I refuse to believe in the media stereotype of Muslim and Arab cultures but many of the real voices in these cultures have been still and power-hungry, ignorant and fearful extremists bloom in this information vacuum. These violent outburst feeds the bigotry against Islamic cultures and this has got to stop. Thank you for your insight and I hope that your voice and many more like you gets heard in the global marketplace.

Thank you SO much for this. For the people who can’t read arabic, this is absolutely perfect. I honestly got goosebumps after reading all the things Our Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) did. And your suggestions are more than perfect. I think somehow we all need to cooperate and make this work. And make all your suggestions come true. One day inshallah it will happen.

Dear David,

Hadith you’ve refered under Sahih Bukhari relates to the incident of Abdulla Ibn Khatal murder during the conquest of Mecca. This man along with some other individuals in Mecca had murdered many new muslims during the Meccan life. Although prophet had declared the sancity of Kaaba’a that no one should be killed in it’s surroundings but Ibn Khatal had been specifically been ordered to be killed whereever found.

Just to remind every one, Prophet Muhammad was not only a messenger of God but also a commander of an army/ leader of a nation and had all the right under law to prescribe death penalty to the perpetrators of a crime like murder.
