Just saw this cartoon on AdBlogArabia..
I just want to say..
[Adopting TV commercial voice]: Are you tired of having your photos and video clips on two different sites with two different logins. Are you confusing your friends and family by referring them to different sites when you want to show them your stuff. Are you going crazy from having to establish two lists of friends on two different sites..
Well, here is the solution..
Get a FREE account on ikbis.com (echo effect here please)
It’s a site where you can put your photo AND videos. You can have all your stuff and friends in one place.
Better still you can upload as much stuff as you want (hurry while the supplies of bandwidth and storage last).
[Sound of customer]: And I get all of this for free. You must be kiddin’ Mister.
[TV commercial guy]: No sir. At ikbis we don’t joke around. Just head over to ikbis.com and see for yourself. And say goodbye toy our online sharing schizophrenia!
[fast speaker, low voiced dude]: Batteries not included. Not a flying toy. Consult your pharmacist or florist before using ikbis.

hmmmmmm….
Nice logical way of promoting a promising photo/video sharing service…
Would it be easy to upload photos and videos from my pocket PC?
If it worked out, I would be more than happy to use ikbis
P.S.: you forgot to mention that you can move your photos automatically… right?
Hi Humeid, I know I’m not in the customer service section..
but I have a small problem with any flash object embedded in Mozilla Firefox and Internet explorer which prevents me from enjoying my videos on Ikbis and youtube, but i can hear any other sound that is made by my PC weather its an error a song on real player or a voice conversation. Do you know what can that be from?
Ahmad, I know many people support your Ikbis initiative and other Arab web initiatives, but there are valid concerns that being a Jordan-based company, or any Arab country for that matter, that you will be subject to the severe limits of free speech in Jordan. And even if the Jordanian security establishment is not involved currently in censoring the web, because of low usage, eventually they will start cracking down on politically unacceptable content. Hence the slow embrace of any Arab-based content provider. If I had to make a long term decision about a platform, I am afraid I will use a US or Europe-based platform.
